A Family's Journey to Spread Positivity, One Paw Print at a Time
Hey there! We're so glad you found us. We're not your typical apparel company. In fact, we don't even like to think of ourselves that way. We're a family of four – two educators, a 15-year-old, and a 12-year-old (oh, and we can't forget our dogs!) – living on the East Coast of the United States. We embarked on this incredible journey to bring a little more joy and kindness into the world, and to do it together.
As educators with over 25 years of experience, we've seen firsthand the impact of negativity, both within our profession and in the world around us. It's disheartening. We wanted to make a difference, even a small one, and spread a little positivity. And honestly, in a world where it seems like families have less and less time to connect, we were looking for an opportunity to really spend quality time with each other. We wanted to learn new things, grow together, and create something meaningful as a family.
That's how Grace the Face Designs was born.
It all started with our rescue dog, Gracie, affectionately known as "Face." She was overlooked by so many, but she has brought an immeasurable amount of happiness into our lives. Inspired by her, we started a simple Instagram account – a family project where we could share uplifting messages and adorable dog-inspired designs, as well as other fun designs! We were amazed by how much people resonated with our message of positivity, and we knew we had a chance to do something really special. We decided to put our messages onto different apparel. We wanted to focus on super-soft sweatshirts perfect for cozy nights, long-sleeved tees that make a statement, and accessories that spark joy. Think mugs that make mornings brighter, framed art that inspires wanderlust, and phone cases that are guaranteed to get compliments.
What makes our journey unique?
Family First: This is truly a family affair. We each play a vital role in designing, creating, and sharing our message. This experience has allowed us to learn new skills (like editing and design in Canva!), connect with each other, and grow closer as a family.
Mission-Driven: We're passionate about spreading smiles, promoting kindness, and making a positive impact. Every design, every shirt, every interaction is a chance to brighten someone's day.
Original Creations: We believe that our family-inspired designs are born from a passion for fun, quirky, and meaningful creations that you won't find anywhere else. From silly to sentimental, our unique designs are a reflection of our family's imagination and a celebration of life's simple joys.
Future Goal: Our family plans to donate a dollar from every sale to a local dog rescue. We believe in rescue dogs...we've had four and will continue to rescue in the future! For full transparency, our plan is to post on our site (yearly basis) the rescue agency to which we donate and the amount of the donation. We set out on this mission to brighten others' days and make an impact.
